On July 1994, a group of young, dedicated, dynamic professionals saw the need for an energized, vibrant Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Due to the increasing numbers of Hispanics living in South Florida that have become an integral part of our economy, there was an outstanding opportunity for Hispanics to come together under one umbrella and have their voices heard. The Hispanic Chamber rapidly became a favorite of all providing more activities than any other organization of South Florida. With its vibrant and energetic members, the Hispanic Chamber’s leadership decided that it was time to expand, and in the year 2002 changed the name of the organization to South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Now, after 19 years, the SFLHCC has over 1000 members and continues to grow at a very rapid pace thanks to the tremendous support of all of its members.
