SFLHCC Takes the High Seas
This past weekend, the 20th Annual SFLHCC Chamber Cruise set sail, bringing over 75 members on a unique voyage that perfectly blended business and pleasure.
The event started with a private welcome reception, where attendees enjoyed refreshing cocktails and endless networking opportunities. Conversations flowed as smoothly as the sea breeze, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and collaboration.
Throughout the journey, our members made lasting connections, shared insights, and enjoyed the abundance of amenities and entertainment provided. The excitement and energy on board were palpable, making this a memorable experience for all involved.

Meet Michelle Febres, a Nova Southeastern Business Management and Marketing graduate. She began her career as a benefit consultant for NMGS in 1997 and obtained her health, life, and variable annuities license in 1998, which marked the start of her sales career. With guidance from her father, Roger Gonzalez, she has helped grow the family business, National Marketing, into a central insurance agency representing all major carriers. Beyond her professional role, she actively contributes to her community, serving on the boards of the Overtown Youth Center and the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and was awarded Hispanic Executive of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce in 2013, all while being a proud mom to her 12-year-old daughter.
