At the SFLHCC's July Luncheon, community leaders gathered to honor and delve into the indispensable role played by immigrants in our local economy. The recent Annual Legislative Debrief Luncheon held by the SFLHCC featured a panel discussion titled "A Discussion on Immigrants' Contributions to the South Florida Economy." The talk was expertly moderated by Daniel A. Espino, Esq., and included insights from State Senator Ana Maria Rodriguez (R), District 40, and State Representative Tom Fabricio, District 103. The event took place at the inviting setting of Jaguar Restaurant in Coconut Grove, and we extend our gratitude to all who participated.
SFLHCC President/CEO Liliam M. Lopez Met with Francisco Sanchez, Jr., Associate Administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) Office of Disaster Recovery & Resilience (ODR&R) and Steve Atkins President of the LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce
Francisco Sanchez Jr. discussed the Small Business Administration (SBA) updating its policies and procedures to better support small businesses, especially in response to changing economic conditions and the effects of natural disasters.
