Training and Education

The SFLHCC offers three annual Business Education Series for small businesses through its lunch/learn events. Topics include business plan writing, market research, access to capital, franchises, technology, accounting, and more. These events are designed to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in today’s competitive business environment. Our sessions are led by industry experts and provide practical insights and strategies that you can implement immediately.

Incubator/Mentorship Program

This program assists in the development of start-up businesses. The MBC Program provides personal assistance to new entrepreneurs from chamber volunteers who are successful business owners. Through mentorship, new businesses receive guidance on best practices, strategic planning, and problem-solving to accelerate their growth and development.

Assistance for Small Businesses

Are you starting a business or need assistance expanding or improving an existing business? The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC) provides on-site counseling, training workshops, and an extensive business reference service. The SFLHCC serves as a one-stop resource location where small business owners can obtain and receive advice, technical assistance, and training. The SFLHCC has assisted thousands of individuals and companies through their Lunch/Learn Business Series, addressing key business concerns and opportunities.

An array of free business workshops and seminars are offered annually featuring topics critical to operating a business successfully in today’s competitive business world.

The SFLHCC is proud to have an excellent public-private partnership with Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami Beach.

The SFLHCC was the first organization in South Florida to host a Web Live on line training for small businesses. These trainings are provided to our members by the SBA. Chamber members can obtain information on all SBA programs through a conference via the Internet from the convenience of their office or home.

Innovative Training Solutions

Founded 30 years ago, the SFLHCC is considered one of the top five Hispanic Chambers of Commerce of the United States offering its members different activities in which to network and meet possible business prospects. Through its Small Business Committee, the SFLHCC is able to provide a voice for its small business members.
