Felipe Basulto
Felipe F. Basulto is the Market President – Retail in South Florida for TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank. In this role, he is responsible for the Bank’s retail network distribution service delivery, sales and operations, including consumer and small business accounts and lending across 96 locations. The South Florida market is defined from the Treasure Coast to Miami-Dade County and over to the Southwest Gulf Coast.
Felipe joined TD Bank in March of 2010 as the Retail Market Manager in the Greater Miami Region. During his tenure with TD, he has focused his efforts on building out the retail distribution network for the Bank in their ongoing development of the South Florida market. With Felipe’s leadership and support, Florida has been recognized internally and externally on multiple occasions as best in class in customer satisfaction, small business and community engagement.
Felipe demonstrates a strong commitment to the community through his efforts in various organizations. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and is a past Board Chair, the South Florida Progress Foundation and is a past Chair and is a graduate and Past Chair of Leadership Miami. He serves on the Board of Directors of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber and is a past Board Chair and the current Chairman of their Foundation. He serves on the Advisory Board for City Year Miami, OIC of South Florida and His House. In addition, he also serves on the President's Council at Florida International University, and as a Trustee and Campaign Co-Chair for United Way of Miami Dade and he also served as Past Chair of the Banking and Finance Committee for the Beacon Council.
Prior to joining TD Bank, Felipe held various roles in other banking institutions. He was recently inducted into the Miami Dade College Hall of Fame and studied Business Management at Loyola University in New Orleans.
