SFLHCC in Partnership with Cigna hosted the Healthy Kids for Our Future Event

The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation hosted a healthy food drive as part of its program with Cigna, Healthier Kids for Our Future. The children of Centro Mater enjoyed a healthy food demonstration presentation by Short Chef who demonstrated an easy and healthy recipe that the families and children can follow, a 30-minute Zumba session to burn some energy, and prizes were presented to the children for their participation. They also enjoyed the Photo Booth and each family received a bag of groceries to aid them during these tough economic times. Thank you to our sponsor Cigna for their continued partnership.

2022 Economic Census Post Due Date Messaging

The due date for the 2022 Economic Census has now passed. Businesses who received an invitation to respond to the census but have not yet replied are receiving past due notices from the U.S. Census Bureau with instructions on how to respond and how to get assistance. Response is required by law. We support and encourage response to the 2022 Economic Census.
Check the How Do I Get Started page for detailed instructions on how to create an account to begin reporting, to check filing status or ask for an extension. Businesses that need to request an extension can do so by logging into their account via the respondent portal, entering the authentication code sent to them by mail or email (found on the invitation to participate) and accessing their survey card. Help completing the survey is available Monday – Friday, 8am to 8pm ET by calling the customer help line on their letter.
By completing the Economic Census, companies contribute to a wealth of valuable data that can help grow their business. For more information visit census.gov/econ.
