The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Gives Back to Needy Families!

The SFLHCC thanks Cigna for their continued partnership as we distribute hundreds of healthy meals to the families of Centro Mater who have high food insecurity under the Healthier Kids for Our Future Program. The next event under the program will an in-person distribution on May 3rd. If you are interested in donating toward this program please contact us at 305-534-1903.

The SFLHCC President / CEO Liliam "Lily" Lopez attended Golden Angels Gala presented by Jackson Health Foundation.

The 2023 Golden Angels Gala took place on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Soho Studios located in Downtown, Miami. The Golden Angels Gala brings together community leaders, corporate partners, and philanthropists to support Jackson Health Foundation’s Miracle Fund. A special thank you to Candido Viyella for inviting us to his table. Our president Liliam Lopez is a Guardian Angel.

Southwest Travel Award for Hispanic Students | Closes 4/28

Southwest is currently accepting applications for their ¡Lánzate!/Take Off! Higher Education Travel Award Program, in partnership with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU). Since 2004, they’ve provided round-trip tickets annually to Hispanic students traveling more than 200 miles from home to pursue higher education. Southwest awarded 4 round-trip tickets to over 170 students last year!
