The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was recently recognized with the 2022 Community Builder Award by the Leukemia Lymphoma Society during their annual gala that took place at the Intercontinental Hotel on Saturday.
Honorary Chairman of LLS Gala, Roberto Munoz and spouse, Ely Mendieta, Alejandro Mendieta, Lily Lopez, Alfredo Sanchez, Johana Armengol, and Roland Sanchez Medina, Jr., Esq.

During the evening, chamber member Ely Mendieta received the “LLS Woman of the Year” award for being the person who raised the most funds for this very important cause. Ely Mendieta is married to Alejandro Mendieta, a board member of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and President at Coastal Wealth Private Client Group, a MassMutual firm.
