Jose Perez de Corcho is Executive Vice President of Underwriting at OSC. Jose’s current responsibilities include product development, underwriting, claims and risk management at OSC. OSC is a leading provider of compliance-driven tracking technology and insurance products and services for lenders, mortgage servicers and property investors. Jose arrived at OSC in 2009 as a result of a merger between OSC and Financial Insurance Brokers, Inc., a company in which Jose was the Founder and CEO. Jose’s insurance career started in 1990 at AIB Financial Group, a South Florida based insurance group with a financial services division. During these business forming years, Jose spent much of his time conducting field audits, handling customer service issues, and developing and enhancing the company’s insurance tracking system. In 1998 Jose founded Financial Insurance Brokers, Inc. with the focus of providing insurance tracking and lender-placed coverage to Florida based lenders. As his career progressed, Jose’s focus turned to developing new markets. Those new markets consisted of geographic areas of the country with heightened insurance risks as well as product development for both real estate lenders as well as automobile finance companies.

As an active professional in the lending and insurance industries, Jose is a member of various trade organizations including the American Bankers Association, Consumer Credit Industry Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association. Jose holds a Marketing and International Business degree from Florida International University. Jose served as President of FIU’s Alumni Association Board of Directors, as well as served as a member of the FIU Foundation Board.

As a committed member of his community, Jose currently serves as Chairman of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as well as serving on the President’s Council of Florida International University.
